Stephen Danos

I am currently the Associate Editor for Participate Learning, charged with recruiting expert writers and developing our company blog.

In addition, I'm heavily involved in the both the Seattle and National writing community. I co-founded and serve as Editor-in-Chief for the online journal Pinwheel and co-curate The Monorail Reading Series.

I am the author of two chapbooks, DO NOT WANT (alice blue books, 2015) and Playhouse State (H_NGM_N Books, 2012). My poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in American Letters & Commentary, Boston Review, City Arts, Columbia Poetry Review,NOÖ Journal,Pleiades, Sixth Finch, the Southeast Review,and elsewhere.

My full-length poetry manuscript, currently titled As If I Am Ancient, has been a finalist and semi-finalist for the Akron Poetry Prize, the Joanna Cargill Coconut Book Prize for a First Book, and the Cleveland State University Poetry Center’s First Book Competition.
