For almost three decades, Steve Erixon has worked to improve operations, facilities, and treatment options at health care facilities in five states. From 2006 to 2009, Steve Erixon was President and CEO of Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson, Missouri, where he committed his intelligence and energy to improving operations. The former CEO of organizations like Columbia Bay Area Medical Center (an affiliate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center), Steve Erixon has accumulated a number of achievements since he began working as an Administrative Resident at Springfield, Illinois’ Memorial Medical Center in 1980. Highlights of Steve Erixon’s time in the health care industry span the introduction of state-of-the-art imaging and administrative technologies and the opening of facilities in fields like oncology, physical rehabilitation, and geropsychiatrics. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Steve Erixon has evidenced his dedication to his field through membership in the American Hospital Association and the Missouri Hospital Association, and he served on the Review Panel of the Health Research & Educational Trust’s Foster G. McGaw Prize from 2001 to 2006. From 2002 to 2006, Steve Erixon was the Arkansas governor’s representative to the Trauma Advisory Council. Currently, Steve Erixon makes his home in Branson, Missouri. Participating in various activities that contribute to his community, Steve Erixon maintains membership in the Rotary Club and serves on two Branson Chamber of Commerce committees. Nonprofit groups like the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society receive Steve Erixon’s enthusiastic support. Steve Erixon attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, for his undergraduate degree and Duke University for his Master of Health Administration. Steve Erixon has also studied business administration at the University of Nebraska.
