Stephen Eyer is a producer, writer, director, and cinematographer in San Francisco, CA. His current film Seventh-Gay Adventists was an official selection at the 2013 Frameline37 San Francisco Int’l LGBT Film Festival at the Roxie Theater where the film also was asked back as part of the Frameline Encore! series. It’s also screened at numerous other LGBT film festivals over the last two years including in Seattle, Miami, Boston, Mumbai, Rio, Southwest, and Melbourne. It also just screened at the Wild Goose Festival, a modern-day four-day Woodstock-style festival in the Smoky Mountains focused on art, music, and social justice.

Stephen and his producing partner and wife, Daneen Akers, received a Pacific Pioneer Emerging Filmmaker Grant for their work on Seventh-Gay Adventists in 2011. In addition to film, their main collaboration is their five-year-old daughter, Lily.

Stephen is currently a flex-use resident at the San Francisco Film Society's FilmHouse.
