Stephen Francis Montagna’s latest novel is entitled The Scorpion's Daughter, and is due for publication on September 18, 2011. It is the sequel to the novel The Sting of the Scorpion. The plot of this novel holds similar themes of mystery, danger, and political crisis to all of his novels. The book focuses on the daughter of an Iraqi colonel who discovers a secret biological weapon that Saddam Hussein and his followers were hiding. It turns out to be a designer biological weapon meant to attack a certain race of the humankind, but it has a technical flaw. The characters soon uncover the great danger of this weapon that could threaten all of human kind with no antidote to stop the deadly germs from creating a worldwide pandemic.

His subsequent and 23rd novel, Dragon Fire is in the works to be released on January 6th, 2012. Another upcoming novel that he is working on is Prophecy of 2012, a novel that addresses the crisis scenario of an American presidential assassination. Stephen Francis Montagna has also written movie scripts and songs for various country and western singers.
