Stephen Gonzalez
Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Stephen Gonzalez is a sport psychology consultant for the US Army's Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Program. Prior to his time with CSF2, Stephen obtained a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a scholarshiped distance runner for the Panthers. After graduating from Pitt, Stephen obtained his MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology from Georgia Southern University. Stephen finished his PhD in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah's College of Health where he is researching psychological resilience in athletes.
Stephen currently resides in Savannah, Georgia with his loving wife Aimee, son Sergio, and daughter Azalea. They have two cats and are crazy about Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh sports. Stephen currently works with a variety of athletes from elite junior tennis players and golfers to United States Olympic Trials competitors in several sports. Additionally, Stephen occasionally contributes sport psychology training articles to Trail Runner Magazine and Rocky Mountain Running and Triathlon Magazine.
