Stephen Henson
Certified public accountant (CPA) Stephen Henson has served as President and owner of Henson & Company, CPAs, Inc., since 1989. In addition to his nearly 30 years of accounting experience, Mr. Henson also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Southern California.
As President of Henson & Company, Stephen Henson assists clients with a number of accounting tasks, such as the setup of accounting systems, preparation of accounting ledgers and other financial documents, and payroll services. The company provides a variety of services beyond accounting as well, including cash flow projections and other analyses, tax preparation, financial forecasting, and business reorganization. Henson & Company also offers clients consultation services regarding retirement planning, computer system competencies, and debt management.
Outside of his duties at Henson & Company, CPA Stephen Henson has acted as Chief Financial Officer to Ecogate, Inc., and the Children's Cable Network, among other companies. He has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of community organizations in the Pasadena, California, area, including the Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. Mr. Henson currently sits on the Board of Directors of Teen Futures, a Pasadena-based nonprofit that empowers young adults to make informed and responsible family planning choices.
In addition to his career as a CPA, Stephen Henson spent several years in the television industry, during which he worked for KPAS Pasadena Public Access TV as a producer. He also produced the Marengo Talent Show on behalf of Marengo Elementary School in South Pasadena for six years, winning a Distinguished Service Award for his involvement.
