Stephen Bronner

I am the editor of Five Towns Patch, AOL's site for everything you need to know about the Long Island community. I received my Master's degree in journalism from the CUNY School of Journalism in 2008, and freelanced before getting my first real gig with the Nassau Herald (now the "competition").

After five months with the paper, I got a job with amNewYork, where I put together the daily's national and international news pages. Patch had been gaining steam in 2010, so at the behest of my former editor (then a Patch editor himself), I applied and luckily got the job in this digital realm, where admittedly I never saw myself working.

I am an avid video gamer who loves to read about the industry and experience new types of games. I also try to keep up with the latest science and technology news. My instrument of choice is the bass, but I can also play the guitar. I've been in two bands, one of which is currently in hibernation. I would one day love to record an album.
