My great grandfather Nathan James PAGE came to TX from Watseka, Iroquois, IL, after being discharged from the Union Army after the Civil War. He settled with his wife Armilda Elizabeth DEES in Selfs, Fannin County, TX. Nathan J. later married Margaret Martin WELDON, widow of Henry WELDON, but she died after a few years. He then married Bertha COBB, but the marriage didn't work. Many of my PAGE kinfolks live in Fannin County still.
