Shooting the women I loved in college was how I began my explorations into photography. Those early carefree experiments evolved into a full fledged career shooting fashion and beauty for magazines and advertising in the 1970s and 1980s, in New York City and Paris, France, where I lived for 7 years. I photographed for Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, Town & Country, The New York Times Magazine, and French Vogue, ad campaigns for Revlon, Chanel, Avon, and many others. In my new country home outside Philadelphia, I’ve now turned my attention into examining what it means to be an artist at this point in my life. I continue to shoot commercially (corporate and private events) with my greatest joy being in creating unique portraits with an edge. I also paint, write, and play acoustic guitar, and I love every step of my continually unfolding creative journey.
