Lyod Stephen Miles

Lyod Stephen Miles is Regional Manager for Lightyear Wireless, a nationwide provider of wireless services. Born in Torbert, Louisiana; moved to New York and started a career in Financial Services while simultaneously studying Marketing and Finance at New York University.

Despite moving up the corporate “ladder” and being promoted to Manager & Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co., I grew tired of office politics, commuting, long hours, stress, etc. I realized that I was on the same path as 97% of the population (working 40 hours per week for 40 years for 40% of my salary in retirement – although I worked 55-70 hours/week) and that that regardless of my competence or dedication, working a job would not enable me to create the life I deserved. The light bulb had been on for a couple years but was fully illuminated just before my department was downsized. Yes, it had become clear that wealth is achieved by those who understand leverage and concealed from those who believe that a job is the way to financial freedom. I surmised I’d be better-served using leverage and that doing so required moving in a different direction.

The decision alone did wonders for me – it gave me a feeling of control and hope that I had never experienced while working for someone else! The journey has been long and expensive but working from home has been a God send, enabling me to work smarter and helping me create the life I deserve, while enjoying life. Moreover, it enables me to spend quality time with my two boys and engage in activities when we choose to rather than waiting for a “vacation”. Working “at home” also gives me the opportunity to meet many like-minded people and help them create the lifestyle they deserve.

I am a proponent of respecting the “body temple” and living your best life. Among the many things I enjoy are reading, photography, cooking, Internet & network marketing, museums, stamp and coin collecting, music, nature, sports and observing, helping and interacting with people.
