"Why accept failure when success is free?" Stephen Norman uses this quote on an everyday basis to keep him motivated for each task he approaches. Currently a senior at North Carolina Central University majoring in Athletic Training. Stephen is 20 years of age and was born in Brooklyn, NY; he and his family has been living in Wake Forest, NC for 10 plus years. Mr. Norman enjoys watching sports, listening to music, and writing poetry as a way to express himself and allow others to reflect on their lives for a better cause. Stephen Norman would consider himself as a business man at heart and have many skills that will not limit himself to one occupation. Mr. Norman is currently in the process of writing a book. On Mr. Norman's free time he likes to watch interviews of successful black males to see their perspectives of different topics pertaining to the black communities, the youth, and to see how have they overcame adversity to get where they want to be. The summer of 2016 Mr. Norman is getting to know himself and his goal is to have peace within his life to become successful in the near future. He will practice becoming mentally, spiritually, and physically healthy.
