I am a Research Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. My research activity is centred on transport, specifically Active Travel (namely walking and cycling). I am also interested in research around urban sustainability, decarbonisation, and energy use.
Recent work includes the role of temporary Active Travel infrastructure in Sheffield in supporting travel behaviour change connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. My work here also extends to include a focus on the future role of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles in the built environment and how they fit into concurrent efforts to deliver a low-carbon economy.
