Stephen "Bub" Dillenberg

Small Business Owner and Consultant in Denton, TX

Howdy y'all!

I’m Stephen Paul Dillenberg, and you can call any or all of my names, if it suits you. Heck, call me “Bub,” if you want; which is a “nick” name from when I was a baby, a-la Bub, bubbler, Bublinsky, because I blew bubbles with my saliva for the first few years of my life, until being old enough to realize it's impolite to do that when other people could see me. Despite abandoning the habit, the name stuck, along with “Dink,” so feel free to call me anything, as long as it's reasonable.

And welcome to Our Party.

Today I’m a residential & light commercial full service general contractor, I'm not actively selling real estate, but I still consult as needed. I taught secondary science and Spanish after college while pursuing professional golf during the summers, and most recently I am candidate for politics locally (Denton City Council). 34 of 36 years of my life I have lived within 10 miles of “the Golden Triangle," “as the crow flies,” the other 2 being 1 year at UT Tyler, and another year Teaching Spanish and Science in the Hill Country (Cherokee ISD). I've spent the better part of the past 4 years, circa 10,000 unpaid hours at this point, getting myself educated in the law, and “asking” politicians to listen to an “average” man's difficulties; especially those in place due to an apparent departure from our founding principles and supreme law. In learning that they pretend not to hear when “off-limits” items come up, and they sit there like glassy-eyed zombies, then do nothing on purpose, I sought to understand why that might be true.

I've come to realize that this is a result of non-existent checks and balances / separation of powers in our leadership, meaning practically a rogue judiciary is making the law since the 30's in this country, although “there be no liberty if the power to judge be not separated from the power to make the law,” which means our system doesn't make sense anymore. Rather, it makes victims, and for pointing it out, among other things, I faced extreme prejudices in the judicial system, and through political action I plan to see the sources of these issues resolved, in part because I, too, value fairness, but also because I'm tired of living in an America that doesn't have much to be proud of anymore. This fight is for all of us.
