Hey, Stephen here.

In Virginia Beach, VA I was born and raised and needless to say the ocean, sand and sun were a big part of my upbringing.

I graduated from Ocean Likes High School near the top of my class and spent a year balancing community college, working at Taco Bell and assistant coaching the tennis team.

From there I left for the mountains, eager to dig into real curriculum yet again. I settled down pretty well, moving across the state on my own and getting used to the new challenges Virginia Tech would lend me.

Just this past summer I worked at "the best small company no one has ever heard of" Progeny Systems - a government contractor for the Navy. I was lucky enough to be put on a development team with full time employees who treated me one like them. There I found meaningful work on a large scale application and was lucky enough to be treated the same as the others.

With just a year left I'm excited to see what the world has in store for me.

As for non worked related things, I play League of Legends and Europa Universalis, play tennis and enjoy wasting entire weekends at the beach.
