Food is the prism through which I view the world. I want you to get closer to your food. I have over a decade in hospitality management at esteemed restaurants throughout the country. I'm a writer and digital media producer. I passed a level one sommelier exam two months after my 21st birthday. In the fall of 2015, I began production on Whetstone Magazine, a forthcoming magazine and web series on food origin and culture. In March 2016, I was named Food Writing Fellow by the IACP's, "The Culinary Trust", where I write about food justice and food culture at the food policy site, Civil Eats.
