Stephens Dodson

Baton Rouge, La.

Stephens Dodson was born in Baton Rouge, La, living there briefly before moving to Portland, Ore. where he spent the next 16 years.
In the summer of 2009, he traveled to Accra, Ghana, West Africa where he worked at the U.S. Embassy as a press liaison to the White House Press Corps during President Barack Obama's official visit to the country.
In 2010 he moved to Houston, Texas for five years where he obtained an associate's degree in mass communication at Houston Community College before moving to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University.
He traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, in 2013 to intern with Church World Service: Resettlement Support Center Africa helping to prepare background information information on various cities in the United States for refugees who were moving to the United States.
He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in advertising at Louisiana State University.
