Over the course of his career, Stephen Shamus has facilitated celebrity appearances at hundreds of large-scale events. After graduating with a bachelor of science in marketing and management from the State University of New York at Albany, he joined the team at Wizard World Inc. and its predecessor, Wizard Entertainment, as Chief Marketing Officer. In this position, Stephen Shamus oversaw online product and ticket sales as well as VIP packages for Comic Con events.

Also responsible for interfacing with celebrity contacts, Stephen Shamus arranged for the marketing and sales of original art and autographs from leading creative personalities at specialized events. He distinguished himself as a deputized “Signature Series Witness” for all signed products and ultimately became the chief marketing officer for the event series, which featured live celebrity appearances.

Stephen Shamus went on to bring more than 2,000 artists per year to Comic Con events. He oversaw the participation of panelists, sponsors, and other key personnel, including such celebrity guests as Chris Hemsworth, Billie Piper, David Tennant, Rosario Dawson and Mike Colter.

Mr. Shamus remained with Wizard World Inc. until 2016, when he became the president of A-List Talent. He now draws on his experience in celebrity appearance facilitation to bring well-known guests to a variety of events, including conferences and conventions, as well as private parties.
