Stephanie Scott

Registrar and Operations Manager in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

I am a humanitarian at heart.

My primary interests are in children's rights, peacebuilding, art for social change, and post-conflict development in Africa.

My Master's research centered on reintegration efforts for former child soldiers and post-conflict community development in northern Uganda.

I am the Communications Director for Young Peacebuilders and the Registrar and Operations Manager with the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy (WHEAT) Institute. I also serve as a Board Member with Bridging Villages.

Some of my other volunteer roles included serving as the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation Regional Representative for War Child Canada; the Canadian Museum for Human Rights; and K.I.D.S. Initiative.

In my free time I enjoy doing yoga, arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with my dog.
