Stephanie Watkins-Cruz is a second year MPA-MCRP candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her MPA concentration is Community Economic Development, and her MCRP concentration is Housing and Community Development.
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Stephanie is a proud alumna of the University of North Carolina at Asheville where she studied Political Science and Sociology. Upon graduating her accolades included the William & Ida Friday Award for Community Service, and the Gene Rainey Outstanding Service Award (2015).
Professionally, Watkins-Cruz is serving a number organizations in a variety of capacities:
