Steph launched his career at Court TV, producing live and taped national trial coverage, managing all aspects of media logistics, overseeing editorial accuracy, and producing longer format documentaries.
Steph was instrumental in the launch of Nancy Grace on HLN, where he continued his trial coverage and was featured regularly as an expert. Following, Steph was a national Field Producer and Correspondent for Fox News Channel's On The Record w/ Greta Van Susteren providing exclusive crime and breaking news content for Fox daytime and evening programming.
Steph's work as an Investigative Journalist has been featured on Investigation Discovery, CNN, FOX News, CBS and Oxygen. Steph was also a Special Correspondent for the syndicated crime TV show, Crime Watch Daily, and is a regular commentator on all networks across all platforms.
As an Executive Producer, Steph has developed and produced multi-hour specials for ABC's 20/20, Oxygen Network Notorious: Scott Peterson, Drew Peterson and serial killers Ted Bundy and Eileen Wuornos. Steph produced Dead Again with Executive Producer Dick Wolf for A&E and created and Executive Produced Casey Anthony’s Parents Speak, also for A&E. Series for ID include; An American Murder Mystery, Deadly Devotions, Dead On Arrival, Redrum, Suspicious Minds and Talking Evil for Discovery's Streaming service.
