Steph is an Investigative Journalist and Executive Producer specializing in creating compelling true crime and justice content across all platforms with an emphasis on missing persons cases, unsolved murders, cold cases, international and high-profile crimes and breaking news coverage.

Steph began his career at Court TV, producing true-crime documentaries, before moving into Daytime programming.

Watts developed and produced HLN’s Nancy Grace and On the Record with Greta Van Susteren for Fox News.

As a news producer and reporter, Steph has created exclusive content for ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, HLN Lifetime, TLC, Reelz and CNN across all platforms.

Steph’s investigative work was featured in ID’s highest rated series; American Murder Mystery, JonBenet Ramsey / Casey Anthony specials,ID’sVanity Fair Confidential; Natalee Holloway: Lost in Paradise,CNN’s 3-part seriesBuried Secrets, Who Murdered the McStay Family? and A&E’s Dead Man Talking, where Watts presented glaring errors in the case against death row inmate Rodney Reed forcing the State to stay Reed’s execution and examine new evidence.

Steph also produced and appeared in Oxygen’s Notorious discussing the Drew Peterson Case, where his work as an investigative journalist was instrumental in uncovering documents that triggered the re-classification Drew Peterson’s 3rd wife, Kathleen Savio’s death from an accident to a homicide. Watts witnessed and reported on her post-exhumation autopsy after which Peterson was tried and convicted for her murder.

Watts produced a 3-hour international documentary on Princess Diana; Tragedy or Treason? for TLC and 2-hour specials on serial killers Ted Bundy and Aileen Wuornos for Oxygen revealing grave errors in both cases

Steph was also a Special Correspondent for the syndicated crime TV show, Crime Watch Daily covering national high profile cases and Co-Hosting Specials with Chris Hansen.
