STEP Project

The STEP Project is here to give teenage parents in the Burnie region (NW Tasmania) the practical support and services that they need to achieve a brighter future for themselves and their families.

Are you a teenage parent? Are you interested in finsihing school or doing vocational education and training?

The Step Project has partnered with Burnie College to provide high quality, low cost child care services on campus for your infant or toddler while you attend classes.

We'll hook you up with tutoring and educational support, parenting workshops and life coaching, referral services and social activities and events you can enjoy with other teen parents, family and friends.

With secondary education qualifications or vocational training and experience you will be giving yourself and your family better opportunities and options for the future.

We'll help you all the way to build on your strengths, abilities, interests and skills ... and have some fun!
