Sterling Kerr

Dr. Sterling Kerr is a geopolitical professor who has researched and periodically taught courses on the future of China since 1999 beginning with SUNY Potsdam in New York State and traveling to the Middle Kingdom multiple times. More recently, he taught courses emphasizing East and South Asia as well as China’s worrisome economic, social, demographic and political tribulations while at a university in Ecuador. Dr. Kerr’s blog allows readers to remain current through his daily research. The second addition being released in late December 2014 is entitled The Future of China, a geopolitical , Military geostrategic and economic Study. Subtitle: Interrelationship Roles with Japan, Taiwan, the Koreas , India and Pakistan based on 20 years of research.
Prior to retirement Kerr’s was a Certified Financial Planner – investment advisor who lectured nationally and internationally. It was during travels to China where lasting impressions were garnered. He is listed in Marquis’s who’s who in Finance and Industry and International Who’s Who. It was his business experience that gave rise to the use of creative thinking and problem solving which he later employed in his most recent university teaching.
