Sterling Raphael is a business technology entrepreneur, professional speaker and investor.

In 2004 Sterling founded NFi Studios, acquired by Avectra (an Abila company) in 2010. NFi was known as an innovator in web technology for associations and events around the world.

Prior to founding NFi Studios, Sterling directed the creation of interactive applications for organizations including Disney, the Orlando Magic, the Pittsburgh Steelers and many more.

Now with his incubator firm Next Step Labs, Sterling consults associations and startups helping convert ideas into fruition. Sterling advises for American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and is a board member for several startups including eventr.io, a commerce platform for trade shows.

Sterling holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
