II'm a Big GEEK, Plain and Simple. I have been working in either electronics or computers since high school and I think one of the reasons that I'm really good at what I do is because I really enjoy what I do.

I have worked for several tech companies from Portland to the Seattle areas and have gained a good amount of insight into what it takes to be an Operations DBA. I can be a bit of a workaholic and have a tendency to get lost in new challenges, but I am learning to find other things to do with my time, thanks to my beautiful wife Corine. We now love taking yearly vacations and have found Mexico to be a place we could both see ourselves retiring.

I love a challenge and have found the world of an operations DBA is full of them. My strengths are troubleshooting, optimizing, and creating complex t-sql solutions. I have most recently expanded my skill sets to include C# SQLCLR coding and PowerShell and look forward to continuing improving and expanding my skills.

I Love technology, gadgets, electronics, robotics and my latest areas of focus are Home Automation, 3D Printing, and Laser Engraving. I also love wood working and plan on joining that to my gadget word by building a wood carver (CNC).

I should also add that my wife and I are a bit of Foodies. I love to grill & smoke myself and we love to explore new foods and venues, which happens quite often with our wide group of friends since many of them, along with my wife, are in the event planning, club, and party industries.
