Steve Ritchie

Steve Ritchie is the former President and CEO of Papa John’s International, the world’s third-largest pizza delivery company, rated number one in customer satisfaction among all pizza chains by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) for 17 of the past 19 years.

Ritchie assumed his role as CEO in January 2018 after working his way up – from customer service representative in 1996 to store general manager, director of operations, franchisee, and more than 10 other roles within the company. Ritchie’s leadership led him to become President in 2015, and he ascended to CEO three years later.

His extensive experience within the company has allowed Ritchie to garner insight into every part of the Papa John’s business and its more than 5,200 stores. He is a champion of operational excellence and has an eye toward technology innovations that will support improvements to the customer and store experience, so that Papa John’s can continue to deliver the quality value and service the company has been known for over the past 34 years.

Ritchie resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Melissa and their two children.
