Why is it I can remember my phone number from my college days, but can't find my car keys?

What is the interrelationship between teaching, training, performing, learning, and memory?

A life-long educator and workplace learning consultant, I have studied the relationship between how learners learn, and how trainers train, in our educational institutions, and in the world of work.

Can you imagine a training session where:

1) The learner learns the content quickly

2) The learner recalls the content easily

3) The learner can easily articulate and generalize how the learning can be applied in various situations

Sound too good to be true?

Welcome to a new realm of employee learning, where the science of learning is skillfully meshed with the art of teaching.

Quicken your pulse, with an exciting new way to engage in authentic learning.

Learning That Sticks

Learning is all about you paying attention to what I want you to pay attention to, learning it, connecting it with other things you have learned, putting it in your attic (brain) in a special place so that you can retrieve it easily when needed.

But sometimes, that learning can be very complex and complicated. We all need a hand, sometimes, getting our connected "boxes" of learning into our attic. This is why customer support and coaching are critical to learning. It is certainly not remedial or (cringe alert) an "intervention" that points out a weakness or failure; rather, it is simply the appropriate type of help at the appropriate time that maximizes efficiency and productivity that result in increased efficacy.

With my help, you can feel pretty darn good about the boxes you have efficiently packed and labeled, and stored logically in the correct part of your attic.

Learning that Sticks.

It works! All you need is a pulse, er...Puls.
