I am a 17 year old in high school. I live on a small boat with my father. He doesnt make much money at all, in fact with my running job i pretty much pay all the bills. I lived with my mother in an apartment before but one weekend i was staying with my dad and went back to her apartment she wasnt there and i haven't seen her since. When me and my father were having a hard time with money someone offered me a job to run my usual routes i run everyday, he told me he was going to pay me 200$ a week. I had to grab packages in between rocks and put them in my backpack but i was not aloud to know what was in them. I assumed i was smuggling drugs but it didn't matter to me because we needed the money. Melissa was watching me everyday and i didn't know about this then i found her poking around in the rocks one day when i was running my route. I didn't want anyone to know about my job because the guy who gave me it said these people would kill us if something went wrong. I had to tell her about what i was doing so she would stay away and none of us would be harmed, she did not like that i was smuggling something. Then the fat guy who gave me the job told me when i had little red packages to hide them somewhere in my boat, so i did. I was reading a newspaper and on the front page someone had died it was the fat guy but his name was Charles Burdett, he drove his car off of a cliff at 40 mph, I didnt think he was commiting scuicide so i assumed it was the people he was working for. The day was coming up where i had to give the packages to the people because i was quitting, i was in a rush that day to get rid of them I messed up the time of running my route and that messed everything up. I got back to my boat and the whole place was a mess it looked like they have been looking for the packages in the boat. My dad was in there and he told me to explain all of this to him, so I did. We opened the packages and it was an explosive. He told me to go see Melissa's dad my father and her father had been very good friends back in the day. I listened to him i got to Melissa's house and told her father everything. We were looking for my boat in the water but it was not there, we went on to a helicopter to look from above, we finally found my father he was on the boat with two guys with guns he knocked out the one guy and took his gun to go get the other then the boat blew up.
