Steve Ferrara is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at Walter Reed and a retired Navy Captain. He is currently the Deputy Director for Clinical Operations in the DoD’s National Capital Region.

He’s a former Robert Wood Johnson/National Academy of Medicine Health Policy Fellow and served on the Energy and Commerce Committee, Subcommittee on Health, in the 113th Congress.

He remains active in health policy and economics and is always seeking solutions to improve healthcare access and affordability for all Americans. Steve loves to teach, write, and advocate on behalf of civil rights, social action, disaster relief and humanitarian aid, and poverty relief.
