I've worked for the Civil Service for the last 28 years in a wide and varied career. I moved into IT about 15 years ago, and enjoy the challenge of creating systems to customer requirements, and on occasion bringing customers down to earth when their requests are, lets say more than optimistic. I'm not Miracle Max after all! :o)

Diagnosed with Progressive Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis in 2010, bring it on world! Although recently this has meant I now use a wheelchair to get about.

I'm standing (sic) as the Labour Party candidate in the Whimple and Blackdown district. Having seen the derision of the NHS first hand. No more regular appointments to help me with my condition. Now mainly yearly 10 minute catchups to monitor my decline. People need an NHS to help them should the worst happen. All austerity is doing is driving the NHS into a private insurance based model. NOT ON OUR WATCH!
