Steve Kinderman

Marina industry executive Steve Kinderman is also an avid boatman. He holds a Master, 100 Tons License, which allows him to captain several kinds of passenger vessels such as small ferries, sightseeing ships, and head boats. Combining his love for boating with his successful career in management, Mr. Kinderman currently acts as the Chief Operating Officer of Aqua Marine Partners, LLC, based in Aventura, Florida. The company offers construction, development, and management of marinas. Steve Kinderman plays a key role on AMP’s management team, a group of skilled professionals experienced in managing marine real estate assets and bringing new ventures to profitability. Mr. Kinderman and his colleagues seek to take advantage of new opportunities in the marine real estate market and add to the company’s growing portfolio of properties. Since joining AMP in 2006, Mr. Kinderman has leveraged his many years of financial management experience in his position at this multi-dimensional firm. Mr. Kinderman’s responsibilities as COO include risk management, human resources, treasury, financial and accounting management, and stewardship of assets in the AMP portfolio. As COO, Steve Kinderman additionally provides leadership for a dynamic company that offers consulting on nearly every aspect of marina management, including marketing, fishing and yachting retail, boat repair operations, environmental regulations, and accounting. The company’s development and construction services are backed by decades of expertise and provide superior execution and supervision of all types of jobs, including pre-construction, construction, and stabilization. AMP is also a licensed real estate broker with exclusive specialization in marina slip leases. In addition to other executive-level roles in a number of industries, Mr. Kinderman was the Chief Financial Officer of both Rybovich, a marine services corporation, and Rybovich Spencer Group. Rybovich has maintained a respected name in the boatbuilding industry for over half a century. Steve Kinderman graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Outside of work, his interests include fishing, diving, cycling, lobstering, and playing tennis.
