Throughout the course of his career, Steven Blackburn has done business in the areas of Software, Information Technology, Organic Fertilizers and Pesticides and Agriculture. Driven by his keen interest in innovative technology and healthy living, Steven has gained experience in all these fields, finding savvy ways of connecting them, which in return led to many highly successful business opportunities. And while Steven is grateful for the numerous success stories he can look back at, it has always been more important to him to do something he likes and that he is excited about, following his maxim “Do what you love, money will follow”.

Steven Blackburn currently represents a number of industry-leading companies that all have one thing in common: they embody the change he wants to bring to the world through responsible, sustainable technology. One of those companies is Vegalab, an international formulator and manufacturer of environmentally responsible agricultural products. In his role as Business Development Manager of North America at Vegalab Steven plays a crucial role in achieving the company’s main goal which also reflects one of his personal ideals: Creating all-natural and organic products that foster a healthier world and contribute to a sustainable future.

On top of his work at Vegalab, Steven owns and manages his own business, New Epic Media, a company that specializes in the representation of and/or partnerships with inventors and start-ups of consumer products. Steven’s experienced team consists of product development specialists and marketing experts who together create comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at the launch of new brands and to increase on-line and retail sales.

Steven has learned a lot through his experiences, but at the same time he realizes that there is still much more to learn. He considers himself a student of life and, eager to exchange this experience with others, he started a blog as a platform to share knowledge and gain more insights through interactions with other like-minded readers, writers and learners in the blogosphere. “In the age of information, ignorance is a choice,” Steven laughs.
