I am a father of two (one of each) and have been happily married to my wife since 2004.
I have been an Assistant Principal (Senior Leader) since 2008 and currently working for the Education Department as a Curriculum Manager with the Learning Improvement Division.
I have taught Information Technology and Mathematics, since graduating from the University of South Australia in 1995. I have worked across a range of roles and sites across the state from Cleve Area School to Adelaide TAFE. I also worked as a Project Officer for the Professional Learning with ICT team within DECD based at the School of the Future.
I have been recognised as a DECS ICT Coach, an Apple Distinguished Educator (class of 2011 ANZ) & Google Certified Teacher (GTASYD11), now a Google Innovator.
I spent 10 years on the state association of EdTechSA as treasurer, secretary, web manager & secondary school representative. I was part of the executive committee that organised the Australian Computers in Education 2014 Conference, held in Adelaide. (ACEC2014: Now IT’s Personal)
Through out my time as an educator I have travelled around the country and world looking at schools and companies implementation of educational technology.
