Steven Fouse

Steve was born and raised in southwest Oklahoma, which instilled in him a love for the sky, stars, thunderstorms, and rain.

Steve grew up in a rather conservative branch of American Christianity. He met his wife at and graduated from a small bible college, and was ordained into Christian ministry. After a few years in professional ministry, Steve left Christian ministry to explore other ways of being the Church and to pursue a Master of Arts in Religious Studies. He obtained that degree with emphases in Biblical Studies and Lived Religion.

Steve now lives with his wife Amy and their two sons in southwest Missouri. Steve works for a community college and is lead minister for the most amazing community of Jesus-followers he has ever encountered. He's still constantly amazed that they let him teach about Jesus on a regular basis, and no one gets upset about it.

Steve is an extremely novice long-bowman, a reader of science fiction and some theology, and a cooker of foods both indoors and out. Steve enjoys making fire in the fire pit, juggling when the occasion calls for it, and any opportunity to waltz. He also likes to learn about his fellow humans through personality theory and body language.

Steve writes the blog Mundane Spirituality and is fully convinced that our everyday lives are the best ways to live out our beliefs.
