Steven Hawkins

Hi, I’m Steven. I’m a freelance writer living in Greenville, South Carolina. I am a fan of writing, politics, and arts. I’m also interested in travel and coffee. You can read my articles with a click on the buton above. My letters to the editor and op-eds have been featured in several Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina newspapers. The newspapers that I have been an op-ed letter writer in include Greenville News (S.C.), Anderson independent mail (S.C.) , and Asheville Citizen times (N.C.). I have published a total of 33 letters to the editor, starting in the year 2014. Some of my poems are featured on the Allpoetry.com poets community webpage. I also published a few Editorial letters in the Columbia, SC The State newspaper. I'm a student of South Carolina history and current affairs. My dream is to be a Substitute teacher, because I love kids since I have never married and had kids of my own. I will need a new car soon, since my car was destroyed by a bad car accident some time ago. I really do love to travel, especially in my local region of North Carolina , the Lowcountry and grand strand of South Carolina, and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky mountains of Tennessee.
