Steven Newbury

An Englishmen at heart, I moved to Philadelphia in 2012 to marry my beautiful wife. I sold my equal share of my UK firm Brealey + Newbury Accountants and spent my first year working for a center city accounting practice here in sunny Philadelphia. This laid the foundations to replicate my UK success by establishing my new business here, Newbury + English Accountants.

My career as an accountant has provided me with valuable experience working with a range of businesses of all types and sizes. This insider knowledge has facilitated a natural progression to the role of business consultant. I specialize in formulating strategies for growth, streamlining procedures, and standardizing working methods to help organizations run as efficiently and as profitably as possible. Much of the consulting work I do requires thorough analysis of financial data in order to structure a profitable business model.

I see myself first and foremost as an entrepreneur, and thoroughly enjoy helping other organizations prosper. An aptitude for new technologies and advances in business practices I relish opportunities to put my skills and ideas into action.

I continue to miss my UK colleagues but still consider myself part of the team working remotely in a freelance capacity.
