Steven Pesapane
Since the age of five, Steven Pesapane has been an athlete. His love of sports began through his participation in organized baseball, an appreciation that continued through to his playing baseball for Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, New York. Following that, Steven Pesapane played baseball for the Long Island Astros College Baseball Club. In the summer of 2009, he represented his high school and college on the club's summer travel team. Additionally, for the past several years, he has volunteered as an assistant baseball coach for the Three Village Baseball League, headquartered in Stony Brook, New York. There, he has helped younger players improve in the fundamentals of baseball through instruction in pitching techniques, batting, successful baserunning and stealing, and fielding.
As a sports participant, Steven Pesapane must keep his body healthy and in shape. He does this through consistent exercise and healthy eating. Mr. Pesapane's exercise routine includes five visits a week to the gym, and bodybuilding. The further his aim, his diet includes regular GNC protein drinks for muscle-building; Mr. Pesapane also prefers to shop at Trader Joes for organic and whole foods.
When Mr. Pesapane is not participating in sports himself, he is studying them in their respective seasons. Specifically, his interests lay in college and professional football, baseball, and basketball. To enhance his involvement in these sports, he participates in Fantasy Leagues.
In the hopes of someday making a living in sports, Steven Pesapane is presently studying Economics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. He aspires to work in sports statistics, sports finances, or in sports management–managing a team or stadium.
