An experienced physician and businessman, Dr. Steven Armus is also an active outdoorsman, both professionally and as a hobbyist. With an undergraduate degree in environmental, population, and organism biology, as well as the experience he acquired as the owner of a series of dermatology clinics throughout Wisconsin, Dr. Steven Armus operates Native Prairie Restoration, also in Wisconsin, removing contaminants and invasive species from ponds and prairies throughout the area.

In addition to his work, Dr. Armus enjoys a multitude of outdoor hobbies, including boating, fishing, gardening, hiking, and survival training. He also volunteers his nature management skills in the community garden of the Guest House of Milwaukee, which shelters and otherwise supports men without homes, and to Beth Hillel Temple as a horticultural consultant.

Dr. Armus rounds out his leisure time by watching and participating in sports and is particularly fond of biking and skiing. A numismatist and philatelist, he also enjoys sampling fine wine and cuisine.
