I work on policcies to bring greater health care for women: ObamaCare provides more than 47 million women access to women's health services-- numbers sure to increase even more. Most such health services were not covered in the past. ObamaCare also include provisions protecting women from gender discrimination.
Reuters has an eye-opening investigation showing how the health-insurance company Assurant Health systematically targeted sick patients for cancelation of their health care policies. A computer algorithm targeted policyholders diagnosed with HIV, and others for breast cancer, for an automatic fraud investigation, as the companies searched for any pretext to revoke their policies. A second Reuters report, this time by reporter Murray Waas, pointed to an insurance company practice so awful, this one by WellPoint, that it's hard to believe. But journalist Murray Waas explained that WellPoint, developed algorithms to drop breast cancer patients.
