Steven Shelton

My name is Steven, and I’m a web developer currently working as a Digital Development Librarian at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Throughout my career, I’ve done extensive work facilitating the development process of various web-based solutions catering to library services. Such background has allowed me to develop excellence in creating new user-facing web application features and APIs. Given the extent of my professional history and technical proficiency, I’m very excited to pursue new opportunities where I can take advantage of the following skill set:

• Formulating application scope and objectives, and preparing functional and technical specifications.
• Documenting and maintaining complex components of library information systems.
• Designing and conducting system testing to identify and address defects and performance gaps.
• Leveraging open-source tools and integrating them into common frameworks.
