I currently am employed with the United States Air Force as a Systems Engineer. This means I work the technical issues of intergrating and testing/verifying large systems. I also utilize leadership techniques and tools to build teams and solve complex issues. I have gained leadership experience from my life experiences as an Air Force Officer, Air Force Academy graduate, football player, wrestler, dramatist, singer and debater. All of these skills have made me who I am today and would not change any of them. I enjoy learning about leadership techniques and learning how to better myself and people around me. I always have a midset of how to make things better and always want to analzye processes and projects to make things more effecient and productive. Call it a natural engineering knack, but I just love to makes things better than they currently are. In my spare time, I enjoy gaming, watching footaball and relaxing. Nothing is better than a long sunday with football and a pizza, although I always need to watch those calories! I also try to get involved with as many professional organizations as possible. I am a big advocate for Toastmasters and Lean/Six-Sigma. Toasmasters is a great springboard to get over the fear of public speaking and also teaching you how to think on your feet. Lean/Six-Sigma is great to force you think outside the box and really analyze what adds value to a product/mission. I really enjoy learning and being apart of these programs. That is me in a nut shell for now. More to come later.
