Steve Neely

Steve Neely is President and founder of Neely Industries, Inc. and is known for his success in the telecommunications industry. Under Mr. Neely’s direction, the company has experienced an expansion that includes over 200 stores and more than $100 million in sales. Steve Neely has more than 30 years of expertise in the creation and growth of national dealers for telecommunication companies such as T-Mobile USA, Inc., Sprint PCS, Verizon Wireless, and Sky Net Communications, Inc. He opened the first mobile phone retail outlet store in Chicago in the early 1990s. Steve Neely originated the concept of the cellular retail store in the city's financial district. He recognizes problems within the industry and is adept at implementing solutions. In 1995, Mr. Neely was recognized by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year as a nominee. Steve Neely is past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, has served on the Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and was appointed Governing Board Member of the Chicago International Film Festival, sponsored by Cinema/Chicago Inc. He also created a music label called Genesis Music Group out of Chicago, Illinois, where he discovered such groups as R. Kelly, Twista, and Kanya West, and worked with such top artist as Michael Jackson. Genesis Music had the first music rap showcase when rap was being discovered to showcase new talent to music industry executives. In addition to his telecommunications and volunteer efforts, Mr. Neely has joined SereniTea as their CEO, leveraging his business expertise to boost the company's bottom line. He also provides consulting services to Fortune 500 companies.
