Steve Lawson
The Concerned Citizens of Irving is a fictional organization created by Steven Gene Lawson in an effort to disguise and conceal his true identity. Steven Gene Lawson, a post office supervisor at the Valley Ranch Station in Irving, Texas, used his position and influences to intimidate his own mother. Steven Gene Lawson illegally placed a block on his mother's US mail by claiming she was a victim of Alzheimer's. Steve had previously opened a case with Adult Protective Services in a vain attempt to have his mother declared mentally incompetent so he could become guardian of her estate against her wishes. Steve and his common-law wife, Tania Ruth Preddy Lawson, were both dressed in U.S. Postal Service uniforms when they maliciously posted flyers throughout Steve's mother's neighborhood in an effort to incite hate and to intimidate her and make her fearful. Steve then mailed flyers via the US Postal Service, using the return address "Concerned Citizens of Irving", to all the residents of his mother's surrounding area and mailed flyers to many of her personal friends. Steve even mailed these disgusting flyers to the pastor and members of her church. Steve is a convicted felon and has been convicted of multiple sex offenses and has served jail time for these offenses. He works at a neighborhood post office. Steven Gene Lawson had previously told his mother that he hated her as she grieved over her dying husband of 58 years at Baylor Hospital in Irving, Texas. In the days that followed he called her four times and yelled vulgar language at her over the telephone. Later Steve and his common-law wife Tania attempted to steal his mother's car. He was caught in the act by his brother Scott. The police were contacted and a report was made but Steve's mother declined to press charges.
