Steven Hoh

I have over 30 years working experience across various industries of which about 13 years of combined were spent in Financial Services/Fintech.

I joined Razer in May 2018. I was the Chief Operating Officer of Razer Fintech. I was also the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer of Razer Fintech. I was the CEO for Razer Pay Wallet (M) Sdn Bhd (2020-2021).

Prior to joining Razer Fintech, I was Group CFO with a privately owned Oil & Gas Group of Companies.

I joined RHB Bank in 2010 as VP Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) Head where I built the BPA team to support business and financial objectives of the Retail Bank. I was promoted to SVP, Retail Wealth and Deposits Head in 2013. My notable achievements include growing the Retail Bank’s deposits balances and unit trust portfolio ahead of overall market growth.

I joined Citibank in 2005 as Financial Controller, Consumer Banking Group. My notable achievements include the restructuring of the finance organization towards supporting the new Consumer Banking Group strategy(s) and identifying meaningful cost saving initiatives.

Throughout 1995 to 2005, I held various Finance Head positions with notable multinational companies and local conglomerate covering a wide spectrum of industries which included chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and trading. These notable companies include ICI Paints Sdn Bhd, Novartis (M) Sdn Bhd and Hong Leong Group Malaysia.

I hold a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy Degree from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. I am also a Chartered Accountant member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. I attained my Australian CPA membership in 1993.

Upon graduation, I spent about 3 years as Audit Supervisor and Audit Senior with KPMG and PwC respectively.
