Steven Kerbis

Employed with New Penn Motor Express in Pennsylvania for the past 17 years, Steven Kerbis works as vice president of technology and engineering for the freight company. As vice president, he oversees the daily operations of the company’s industrial engineering, central supply, and information technology departments, which together include 28 employees. Steven Kerbis also handles telecommunications issues and productivity improvement, and is in charge of the technology help desk.

Before earning a promotion to his current position in June 2009, Mr. Kerbis served as engineering director and transportation engineer for New Penn Motor Express. He also worked as an industrial engineer at Massachusetts-based Viking Freight for three years.

A devoted family man, Steven Kerbis has been married to his wife for more than 20 years; together they have raised three boys and one girl. In his spare time, he enjoys working on home improvement projects, playing cards, and researching stocks and mutual funds. He is also active outdoors and participates in whitewater rafting and tennis, as well as riding along bike trails.
