Steven Mesia

Steven Mesia is the Directory of QA and Food Safety forWhitehall Specialties, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in the Food Production and Quality Assurance industry. Steven got his B.A. in Organic Chemistry from Bemidji State University.He began his education at Bemidji majoring in music, but decided he did not want it to become a job. Steven regards this as one of his best decisions because it allows him to pick up his guitar whenever he wants, but also put it down and take a step back if he needs to.
Steven Mesia is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys sailing, hunting, and fishing. Steven owns a 42' Wooden Ketch Sail boat built in 1963. He bought it off repossession and has restored it himself which has been a great experience. He sails from Port Angeles and loves to explore San Juan Island, Deception Pass, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Steven enjoys bowhunting for whitetail deer and elk which he has been doing since he was a child. Semi annually he takes a trip to Alaska to fish for halibut in the waters outside of Homer and Valdez.
