Kia Ora... I was born in the far north of New Zealand back in 1966. A mixture of Maori and Pakeha heritage I spent my childhood growing up in the rural township of Milton, South Otago. In my later teens I graduated as one of the first Maori's from Otago University's Marketing Department with an honours degree in (MCom). This lead to tenure in Maori tourism at Otago Polytechnic and Auckland University of Technology. During this period I entered the Health and Fitness industry which would become my calling. In 1995 we started Les Mills International, the World's Largest Group Fitness Company which led to my current position as CEO of Les Mills West Coast. As a sports enthusiast I represented NZ as a Secondary Schools Rugby Player and completed the 1996 NZ Iron Man triathlon. In 1999 I got obsessed with spinning and claimed the Guinness World Record for indoor stationary cycling over 24 hours. As an entrprenuer I've spent the last 15 years working on projects to move 10 million people through exercise by 2020. This is driven by a higher purpose to make our planet fitter, healthier and happier. Supported by my wife and daugther my life is full. I call it the MANA of Life - Kia Kaha
