Born and raised in Germany, I started working in a TV production company called TVN in 1996 in Hannover while studying media creation in Hamburg graduating with honours in 1999. Early on I decided to focus on editing which has always been my favorite part. I moved to Hamburg in 2000 where I worked as an editor in the former production company PetersenNaumannFilm until 2002.

Since then, I have been working as a freelance editor with directors from all over the world on very diverse projects, including commercials, short films, corporate films, music videos, feature films and documentaries for cinema.

Some commercials I edited won at international festivals like Cannes or ADC.

I also have experience in working as a voice talent for customers like Beiersdorf, Lexware or Europa Versicherung in both german and english languages.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two sons and my lovely french wife.

I am passionate about music and have been playing drums since I was a teenager.
