Steven Wood
Ojai, California resident Steven Wood is a successful venture capitalist in the corporate finance sector of Beverly Hills, California. In 2005, he launched his own company, Bespoke Capital, LLC, which specializes in multiple areas of business investment. Besides his responsibilities as Managing Partner at Bespoke Capital, Steven Wood is a respected biomechanist at two different organizations. He joined Roger Clark Associates, LLC’s team of experts who investigate and testify in cases involving injuries, particularly those obtained from automobile accidents.
Steven Wood has also worked as a Biomechanist and Expert Witness at Biomechanics Solutions LLC since 2005. Wood’s debut into sales occurred at the Keyence Corporation, the leading supplier of sensors and measuring instruments. Keyence also develops and manufactures products to meet customer’s needs across the industry, including application software and business information technology devices.
Steven Wood was the Area Sales Manager for hyper-accuracy laser management systems between 1997 and 1998. Wood utilized his technological savvy by developing and implementing several applications for investigational instrumentation, data collection, signal conditioning, and data analysis. He has also written computer programs that include Java applets and CGIs (Common Gateway Interface) for interactivity.
Steven Wood attended Queen’s University, which is located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Wood received two Bachelor’s degrees from the university in 1994. He majored in both American history and physical and health education with a focus on biomechanics and was at the top of his class. Steven Wood went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Biomechanics, which he received in 1996.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Steven Wood is part of the American Kang Duk Won Karate Association. He holds a national certification as a second-degree black belt martial arts instructor and gives lectures and provides professional level coaching in the martial arts. He can also speak conversational French and Italian.
