Steve began working in restaurants at 16, making waffles on the Sunday brunch buffet at a hometown restaurant. After working nearly every job in the restaurant, he began in front of the house operations at the downtown Chicago restaurant Catch 35. After 5 years, he moved to Levy Restaurants and became the General Manager & Beverage Director at Gold Coast staple Bistro 110. He also worked with the operations team at Fulton’s on the River. In 2011, Steve took over the General Manager & Beverage Director position at Province. In 2013 Steve co-founded SRZ Consulting with Chef Randy Zweiban. The following year, SRZ Consulting teamed up with Chef Norman Van Aken to form VRZ Hospitality Group.
