Skillins was trained at the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts in Beverly MA by Phil Lowe who is well known throughout the woodworking community. After sucessfully completing the 3 year furniture mastery program Stephen started a small buisness called Skillins Fine Furniture where he has been creating heirloom quality furniture for clients ever since.
